About Mr. Iverson
Education: Bachelor’s of Science, and additional one quarter, Montana State University, 1966
Currently in 43rd year as a licensed insurance agent (Life/Health, Property/Casualty) in Montana and has held Non-Resident licenses in several states. Completed dozens of insurance industry courses, taught dozens of insurance industry courses. Taken, written, and taught insurance industry continuing education courses over the last twenty years.
Ron Iverson has been in the insurance business for over 42 years as a personal producer, GA, and MGA. He has won dozens of company awards for personal production, including nationwide Managing General Agency levels. He taught Insurance Continuing Education for several years and has conducted over 50 Long Term Care Insurance sales seminars across the nation. He writes and distributes marketing materials for the Medicare Supplement industry, the Short Term Care Insurance industry, and formerly did the same for the LTCI industry Ron has also written several Continuing Education courses, and authored two books on Long Term Care Insurance and three on Medicare Insurance.
His first insurance publishing venture, “Guarding Your Gold” was printed in 1999, and the second “Guarding Your Gold II,” was distributed in the spring of 2004. Both books point to the demographic, economic, Social Security, Medicare, and retirement problems that will be facing all Americans over the next thirty years.
Recognizing a national need for Medicare producer knowledge and updating, Mr. Iverson wrote a sales manual and Continuing Education courses for Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage producers. Both books are updated annually. In 2004, he founded and established the National Association of Medicare Supplement Advisors, Inc. He has written numerous articles for such national publications as Broker’s World Magazine, Life Insurance Selling, Caring Magazine, Benefits Marketing Magazine, Senior Market Advisor, Agent Sales Journal and has been quoted in several national publications, including Investment News, a securities oriented publication. He has been a presenter at several national insurance conferences.
